Environmental & Regulatory Services

The purpose of the Boone County Department of Public Health, Environmental Division is to help assure the public's health through education, implementation of environmentally sound practices, and enforcement of environmental laws and regulations.

The Environmental Health program strives to protect public health. We have three mandated programs: potable water/well, private sewage disposal, and food sanitation. The links below will guide you through our services and provide you with downloadable forms and other helpful environmental links.
